 COLLECTIVE BARGAINING UNIT: This position is not in a collective bargaining unit.
 
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: This position is located in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), Office of Lottery and Gaming (OLG). The incumbent serves as the OLG's social media expert as the internet represents the agency's only resource for 24-hour open access communication program. Duties include, but are not limited to: creating and implementing strategies around web communications best practices and tools; coordinating the social media presence for a variety of initiatives; leading outreach activities utilizing 2.0 web tactics and programs to further enhance the image of OLG; developing web and email public relations and communication strategies for various promotions and campaigns; maintaining and providing content development for OLG social networking sites; preparing quarterly reports summarizing the results of social media campaigns and web analytics; and providing advice on new developments in the web communications industry to assist the Chief of Communications. Performs other related duties as assigned.Four (4) years of progressive work experience performing the related duties and responsibilities such as: developing web communication strategies and social media content; maintaining social media platforms, running promotions and campaigns, and partnering with third party vendors; and preparing reports and analyzing data to access communication effectiveness.

Experience that provides the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for this position.

COLLECTIVE BARGAINING UNIT:
Employment with the OCFO is at will. However, the discipline and/or discharge of bargaining unit employees is governed by the collective bargaining agreement.
